Simplified, rugged and user-friendly are the cornerstones of Leica Geosystem’s MCP80, 3D machine controller for road construction or paving projects. It features an intuitive and vivid 800×400 pixel, 8″ touchscreen. The backlighting for the buttons and screen are adjustable, buttons are optically bonded, strengthened and are treated with an anti-reflective coating for optimal performance.

Heat, cold, wind, dust and rain are common environmental factors that you must contend with at the paving job site. The MCP80 is designed to deliver superior performance during these harsh weather conditions. The IP66 and IP67 rating ensure complete protection from dust ingress contact, water spray, and 1 m submersion. It has an operating temperature range from a frigid -30°C to a sweltering 60°C and can survive a drop from 80 cm (31.49”) and still properly function.

The internal computer for the iCON Pave boasts a 1.7 GHz dual-core Intel CPU with 4GB of RAM. It has a 32 GB of flash storage and internal wifi and GPS. Meets CE, FCC, RoHS and WEEE standards.
