For asphalt paving work, Leica’s 3D stringless paving system from Flores Automation and Machine Control (FAMC) can ease jobsite logistics, increase overall jobsite safety by eliminating stakes and string lines, and help ensure a smooth asphalt road. With the Leica system, you’ll save time, material and money.

This system paves based on a model imported from any CAD system and loaded into the Leica iCON Pave MCP80.

The total stations precisely track the machine’s position, heading, and elevation. The MCP80 calculates and compares this to the design model’s grade and position. Steer and elevation corrections are sent to the machine’s controller, automatically regulating the hydraulics for precise paving results. While 3D stringless paving can be used for any asphalt paving job, it is ideal for airport paves, multi-level lifts and long run paving.

For those who wish to upgrade their stock screed controls, FAMC offers the GT1 series paving system. It is a cost-effective system that allows you to pave to a fixed thickness to the surface below.
